Working a half day on Breeders Cup

Does anyone know a good reason that I shouldn't quit my job for being forced to work a half day on Breeders Cup Day. It's a holiday in Kentucky, I guess Indianapolis people don't quite feel the same.....Also, does anyone know if you can get your bets in on Friday for Saturdays races through the OTB'S. Thanks

The odds and gate positions are determined, so I don't see why not. However, I either play on line or at the track, so I don't know for sure about OTB sites.

They said at Keeneland yesterday that betting on the BC will be available there starting at noon today(Friday), so I would think any simulcast place will offer betting then also.
