Rules For Weekly Baseball Contest

This contest wlll last for 20 weeks....

It will begin on Opening Day!!!!

Week will start on the first game on Monday and end with the last game on Sunday....
You will pick 1 team for the week and get the teams record for that week..

Ex: You pick Seattle and they go 5-2 for the week, that will be your record 5-2....

You may only use a team ONE time in this contest....If you pick a team that you all ready used you will be eliminated from the contest.....It will be your responsiblilty to keep track of who you picked......

The winner of the contest will be based on the best win % over the 20 week contest...This method is used rather than most wins to compensate for rainouts....

The following rules will be strictly enforced...

NO EDITING YOUR POST...If you make a mistake just make a new post...

You must post your play for the week in the proper thread...I will not be checking every thread on the board to try to find your pick for the week....If you post in the wrong thread, you will be eliminated....

You must enter the contest in the first week to be eligible for the overall prize....

NO skipping any weeks, you miss a week you will be eliminated from the contest.....

I, Bambino66 will score this contest.....Scores will be posted for the previous week no later than Tuesday of each week...

Threads for your picks will be posted no later than Saturday before Mondays games....You must enter your selections prior to the first pitch of the first game on Monday.....NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

As we get down to the final weeks of the contest I will annouce a tiebreaker ot break any tie for the best record if need be....

PRIZES

First place - 2 baseball tickets to a game of your choice. (Most cities will be available. You will be given several dates to choose from. In the event you win and you do not have a baseball team in your area - possible exchange is possible)

Second place - Cappers Mall Polo shirt

Third place - Cappers Mall hat

Fourth and Fifth - CM tshirt

Rev, you can change your pick, just post a new thread and let me know its a change from your original post....

Fray, its based on winning %....The reason I am doing it this way is to compensate for rainouts during the season....

Yankee23, sorry but the rules are clear that your picks must be in by the first pitch of the first game of the week....I cant change this rule now since alot of people were knocked out when Boston and the Yankees played an 11 AM game earlier this season....
