Agreed that the defense is the weakness. Definitely need something in the draft

Chip
thanks for the input but i def disagree for these reasons.

3 of the top 6 teams need a QB. There are 2 elite ones. At least one goes.

there are 2 top flight DT that are locks for the Top 6.

Berry is the best prospect to come out at Safety in a long time. 5 of the top 6 could use him.

Not to mention all of the top 6 picks have HUGE OL issues i think its safe to say that there could be a combination of

1 or 2 QB
2 DT
1 S
1 or 2 OT

in the top 6.

That being said McClain coming into the latter of the top 10 is not a stretch by any means...

I honestly believe that the Lions or Bucs will draft Okung leaving on of the DT prospects sitting there for the Skins, which will be tempting to jump on.

The skins will def consider a QB at that point and I wouldnt be shocked either to see one go there. Its hard to tell their plans with Jason Campbell right now...
shanahan knows he has to blow up this team. campbell isnt the answer

this is portis and santana moss's last years imo.

i think they will trade down

I hope you're right because as good as Cutler's arm is, his football sense was lacking, and we NEED a QB. Kyle Orton is NOT the answer.

I wanted Quinn when he finished, but I'll still be happy with Claussen. Go Irish Broncos! lol

if they can find a suiter im sure they will... hard to trade picks that high.

BEst case scenario is Seattle starts chriping they want a QB and a team like the Bills comes flying in

First of all, I agree now way in hell the skins take a rb with the 4th pick. this is Shanahan, rb by commitee.

I would love for the Chargers to take Mathews or Best (disagree with him being a Sproeles type of back). Chargers are a passing team now and Best could fit in very well. I think this would improve the team the best, but like BFD and RJB something tells me they take OL or DL.

I have a feeling the chargers are going after a vet rb. If they don't they HAVE to make a move for a top rb in the draft

Recent additions by the Redskins and Lions, deoartures by seahawks and browns could send this mock into unpredictable craziness

can be said for a lot of Gators

I think Mays could potentially be a Roy Williams in the NFL........big, strong, physical, but gets exposed in pass coverage

nfl loves the gators, look at urbans track for getting players drafted

not that I care, I dont particularly become a fan of ex gators, not something I hold onto

but fact remains who exactly else has had that tag of immature like dunlap?

not anymore than any major school

Mays is a whole lot faster than roy williams ever was, while its not a question berry is #1

it wont be a matter of quickness in pass coverages

Mays will learn to play under the right coaches, he has the speed and strength to be a pro bowl safety

was obv f'in with ya about the Gators Rome

as far as Mays goes, I just see some of the same similarities between him and Roy when they were coming out of college and think he could struggle with pass coverage......till will tell I guess

I agree that Mays is faster but not by a ton......I believe Roy ran a 4.53 at the combine and Mays was like a 4.43

Mays is a special athlete who needs tweaking on his techniques. Thats why he should fall out of the first half of the draft, unless Al Davis has something to say about it
