I'm in if it's H2H. Not in if it's points.

I’ll play. Don’t really understand the benefit of h2h vs points in baseball.

h2h is great in the NFL where they play 1 game a week. It sucks in everything else. You get a guy that tweaks a hamstring on Monday and you have to leave him there in your lineup all week. Makes no sense. The team doesn't put him in the lineup the next day and you shouldn't have to either.

For casual fans weekly h2h is the best thing. Sure its better setting daily lus but my experience in these leagues its hard enough getting people to set lus once a week let alone every day.

Yeah but in h2h if people forget to set a lineup it can screw other people. In a daily points league you do that and you only hurt yourself. I played in the cm h2h and I got screwed so many times with guys getting hurt and having to leave them sitting there all week. It sucked.

Letís up the buy in and make it a points league. It will be worth it to set lineups daily if a few grand is at stake

The league I used to play in was H2H scoring, but you set your lineup daily. that is the best format imo. was on yahoo

If there is interest in something more daily I would be willing to join a FD league where we played Monday-Friday night for a bigger buy in.

In seasons past when we did the FD we would only play on Tuesday & Friday

Pimp loves his Fan Duel. They may call it DFS but that ain't fantasy baseball.

When there is no live draft, it ain’t fantasy. It should be called sports lottery cuz everyone can have the same numbers/players every night

I mean seriously. Sports lottery is a better description. You are all given the same ticket with the same names every night and you check off 9 boxes.

Wayne, by those standards you could say if it is not rotisserie it is not fantasy.

And I prefer H2H because I go off for extended periods of time sometimes with limited internet, and easier to set lineups once a week.

No difference if your guy gets hurt first game of the week in baseball, or first play of the game in football. He is still not doing much for your team during the matchup, only difference is matchup lasts a week.

Rotis is just a version of scoring. I am not sure what that has to do with anything.

And you can still set your lineup once a week in a points league. Hell, you can go 30 days ahead and set it if you want so i don't see how that matters either.

Also, if your guy gets hurt in the 1st play of a football game, you lose him for 1 game. In head to head MLB he site there in your lineup for 5-6 more games. That is not even close to the same

If I knew I could trust the GM's, I'd be willing to up the buy in.

But, we know how much lineup issues we have even in the NFL league where we set our lineups once a week.

I spoke to MCP about the exact format I'd be in for, so, he knows what I'm looking for. The last time we did H2H points, I had 5 Cy Young pitchers on my team and would lose pitching every single week to someone streaming guys like Marco Estrada, Dylan Bundy, and some other equally shit pitcher.

As for Fan Duel, I'd be willing to do a 2 night per week league (I can't commit to every night).

The thing about Fan Duel is you don't need to rely on another person (as sad as this sounds) setting their lineup in order for you to make the playoffs. As long as everyone pays, I could give a shit who sets their lineup and who enters/doesn't enter on any given night.

I might be able to get some guys from my own fantasy circle to join a FD league if needed. MCP knows most of them.

.
Carraso
Quintana
Arrieta
Chase Anderson
Paxton
Jon Gray
Cueto
Aron Sanchez

It was a decent staff but to say 5 Cy Young arms is a bit of an exxageration

Some of the guys who were in the last cm1 and still post who might be interested are Gerk, WCI, Cat. Dom won the last league and Im not sure if he would be interested and I spoke to Ups and he said he would like to get back in it.

So far the names interested in playing again. Anyone else interested feel free to reply

MCP
HB Local
Natty
BE
Ups

We would need at least 10 to run a league but 12 would be optimal and it can be run with 14
