2nd Chance Survivor (Week 6)

STARTS IN WEEK 6 - 2ND CHANCE SURVIVOR

This is a $50 buy-in and 100% of the pool goes to the winner.

Here is how you play

Please confirm payment info. PM for details

Click here and Post me a PM to find out best way to send $50. PM to confirm best way. I'll respond usually within minutes or at the most 24 hours.

There will be a confirmed entry thread in this section. Only names on that list will be permitted to play. After payment you will be added to list.

Each week you will select one team to win (no pointspreads). If you win – you move on to the next week. Lose and you are eliminated. If you miss a pick you are eliminated. The last lone survivor will win. The contest will run until there is one winner. In the event of a tie game - both sides will be considered a loss.

The contest will begin the first week of the NFL regular season.

There will be a thread started by Cappers Mall each week right here in this section for you to enter your picks. The thread will be started on Tuesday’s of each week. You must post inside the correct thread.

You must make your picks by Sunday at 1:00 pm EST. The thread may or may not be locked at that time but there will be no exceptions. Picks may not be emailed in under any circumstance. They must be posted in the thread. IF you decide to wait until the last minute to make picks and the web site is down or any other reason beyond our control – you take that chance and again no exceptions will be made. EVEN if you play a late game they must be entered before 1.

You may play any NFL game. If you want to pick a Thursday night game you must play before Thursday. If you play a Monday night game you must submit by Sunday at 1:00 PM EST

You may buy as many entries as you'd like.

You will not receive any reminders. It is your responsibility to make your picks.

You may only use each team one time. Once you use a team you may not use it again and if you use a team twice by mistake it's the same thing as losing.

In the event more than one person is still standing heading in to week 17, the remaining participants will split pot or continuing in playoffs if 100% agreement from all players still alive.

* Any rule not mentioned here will be decided by Cappers Mall.

All questions and answers may also go in this thread.

Rule should have been posted. If it was not posted, should be no action and move on IMHO.

This is for the week 8 pick.

This is most likely going to have to go to the playoffs. Cleveland is so fucking bad, you can wide them to the end. I think they are going 0-16.

What happens if there are 11 posters who stay unbeaten the rest of there season and it is not unanimous how to proceed? What is the default plan? I will vote to keep going in the playoffs. If Cleveland goes 0-16, very likely this is not settled.

I find that most of these situations take care of themselves. Thi original text comes from the original contest.

We have done both (playoffs or split) or tiebreaker)

Give me a couple of weeks to worry about it nd let's see what happens

Everybody may skate to week 13. This is a bad year for Survivor. I propose adding a fade limit on teams. When you have Cleveland and San Francisco that may go 1-31, it makes it tough to get a single winner.

20-0. If I make it the distance and there are multiple survivors, I will vote for a playoff refresh and play on. The Browns and the 49ers most likely not winning again (or ever). That means multiple survivors.

At this point I'm not going to try to be clever. Best team available. Finish 5-0 and hope for a playoffs refresh.

If this was earlier, would take the Bears. No reason to take that chance when Brady is basically a free pass.

If Seattle wins, 2nd week in a row no eliminations. Browns and Niners not winning. There will be at least 6 left after the regular season ends.

One more week and I think we have to go with 2 picks.

This how easy I will make it to the finish line Tom Crean

14) Bungals over Browns
15) Falcons over 49ers
16) Chargers over Browns
17) Steelers over Browns

That's it. If I make it, so will a bunch of other posters. To make it difficult, have to go to 2 picks. We should actually start now. No reason to wait. Shame on anybody who gets knocked if they have Browns and 49ers opponents available.

Ok. Not unless everybody agrees. That means if the Browns and 49ers win out, we will have probably a half dozen posters left. Then what? I am not interested in splitting 2 ways led alone 12.

Browns and 49ers lose out which they will just as sure as Trump will win the Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania recounts.

Let's a have a vote at least. 2 picks will put some spice in the final month. Now you are talking high degree of difficulty and almost certain winner...

Here what I was thinking in the last week of the season you would pick your top 4 plays and rank them in tiebreaker format:

1) A
2) B
3) C
4) D

You would grade the A play and then the B play and then the C play and finally the D plays.

1) You can not use a team you have picked in the contest and if everyone hits there top 2 play you would go to the 3rd and then the 4th.

I'm not looking to split the prize and it's winner take all for my vote!

Those that make it to week 17 would have picked 10 teams or the possible 30 teams in the NFL.

Just a thought..... love to get some feed back

first of all, we have to get to the end of season....rules state a split or 100% agreement on something else....personally, a split is good with me, however, I have to get there first....lol
