One problem I saw the last 2 years, was that one game that the posted odds were skewed. 2 yrs ago it was the Jets total posted at 51.5(actual line was 41.5). Cant remember the game/lines that caused the ruckus last yr, but it did happen again.

I think whomever is posting the lines should have them proofed by another mod or nfl regular possibly not in the contest.

I agree with a proofread by any of us contest regulars of the initial posting and them hotpicks or jack or whoever posts them making a 2nd post stating the odds are ok to fire away.

Proof reading isn't going to hurt but we know when a line isn't right. If a mistake is made by putting up a total of 42 when if fact everyone knows it's 52. It should be brought to MHP's attention and fixed and whoever took advantage gets another pick.

To tell the truth this is a great community and for those that look to take a cheap shot that happens maybe twice a year well it's wrong. I've run some big contests in my day and I stipulated that any obvious mistake would be corrected and there would be no make-up play and you would have the play at the right number. There was never an issue after that. But that's just my opinion and I go with the majority and also would be happy to double check all lines on any contest that is run.

Absolutely NO excuse for a mistake posting lines. 14 to 16 games a week. Sides and totals=28 to 32 lines a week. I could do this for a 100 years and never make a mistake. But I live, sleep, and breathe football.
