If you have two spots, can you chose two teams that play each other
I.e. Bills vs chiefs
Entry A plays bills
Entry B plays chiefs

I have been thinking about this question. It has come up in other contests and the answer was NO, however looking at the rules and any different circumstances this contest would present, I think the answer has to be YES you can. In the other contests it was handicapping with a spread and we clearly thought it goes against everything we trying to do.

I am talking this one out loud because I am torn. I thought about No, only if you have no choice. I would like to see if anyone has any other points that I didn't mention here.

The one thing I am having a tough time getting around is would it give someone with more than one entry an advantage in the contest? Is this even an advantage to lose automatically? This is the main question I we have to answer

SO most rules are pointed out or I come up with a quick resolution. I will come up with a decision one way or another but going to leave this up for a few days to see if anyone has anything to add here that I have not thought of. As of now I would probably advise against doing it. Will be giving it more thought. Again most questions I would never be so indecisive publicly but would like to give it proper thought and come up with fairest answer.

This is an easy one. yes, you can. You bought the 2nd ticket. This gives you the option to use an opposites attract strategy. 100% ok.

Big Ant,

I wanted to give the answer proper time so I could think of things I may not have thought of. For this contest and our other Survivor contests - the answer is YES

There is plenty of situations where an entry is posting an entry for someone else who might not be great on computers (fathers or whatever) but the bottom line is each entry is different and not connected in any way, shape or form.

So hypothetically you could play one entry on Team A and one entry on team B even if they're playing each other.

I will get this in the rules for next year as well. It is good that it was brought up now

GL guys

While I think the correct ruling was made, I think you are going to have to Cap the amount of entries a person can have or else there will be people take advantage of this rule...

My 2c Sure you allow and if I was against someone with two entries I would encourage it.
If there's a point spread like the other contest then no you can't but in a survivor you can.

If somebody wants to burn an entry picking opposite of their other entries, so be it regardless of the type of contest.

Multiple entries often belong to other people than the actual poster.

If someone buys 131,072 entries, that person is guaranteed to win by picking two opposite teams a week. This method assumes the player loses half the entries per week and it would leave the player with 2 entries in Week 17 for a guarantee payout.

Risks would be:

1) One of the games picks ends in a tie;
2) A regular player completes all 17 weeks and money is split

For a $6,553,600 entry fee, a player would be left standing.

I can't see anyone exploiting this ruling to win automatically. If someone does plop down $6.5MM, count me in for about 100 entries.
