#1 Pitching Staff in Baseball

No it's not the Red Sox, Phillies, Yankees or Cardinals......it's my San Diego Padres!!!

Great mix of veterans "Garland, Chris Young and Kevin Correia" + new talent "Clayton Richard, Matt Latos & Wade LeBlanc"....Bullpen that is downright nasty although Adams blew their 8 game winning streak yesterday.

Gotta love baseball and following the underdogs!

best pitching stats and best pitching staff are two different things buddy.

the best team the padres have played this season is 1 game over .500

I did pick up Latos in fantasy though last week, a great arm on a 22 year old kid - not sure he'll make a fantasy impact this year though, but he'll be tough in years to come

You have a point...however they played the DBacks, Rockies & Reds who all can put up ALOT of points.

we ban RJB and the Padres go off, maybe he will elect to stay banned in hopes it helps the Super Chargers

from what i see the giants currently have the best pitching stats and that will likely be the case in the end barring serious injuries. i don't know how long the padres staff can keep this up, but it's been great so far.

and to add to this - we'll start to know where he's at after this week, 2 starts for him, vs Josh Johnson and Yovani Gallardo

I know lots of guys wanna argue the point that boget is trying to make here, but let's all just enjoy it for what it is: the Padres are playing some very good baseball, and it's a nice change.
