Lightbulb 10 things we've learned after the MLB season

1. Joe Maddon might be the most underrated manager in baseball. 0-6, 1-8 start to the season, down 9 in September, down 7-0 on last game and they never quit.

2. Yes he is good luck! That is Johnny Damon going to the postseason again with his 3rd team in the AL East.

3. During the World Series, Freddi Gonzales and Terry Francona will compete in a new TV reality show called "Big Choker" hosted by Nolesfan. Derek Lowe will be the grand prize. Jose Reyes was supposed to be the prize but he asked to be removed.

4. Rumor has it Theo Epstein will be looking to sign a big free agent from the TV show, The Biggest Loser.

5. Roger Clemens just issued a statement denying that the Red Sox choked.

6. Immediately following the game, John Lackey quit on the team and asked for his release.

7. You get the feeling somewhere last night Manny Ramirez was shooting up B12 and playing slapstick with the wife.

8. Rumor has it that Bud Selig wanted the Sox and Rays to end in a tie.

9. Evan Longoria became only the second player in MLB history to hit a walk-off homerun on the last regular season at bat to send their team to the playoffs. Even Tony Parker was applauding!

10. I am sure it was a rough night for both the Sox and Braves last night but poor Terry Collins.

They sure celebrated like it. Damn did they celebrate after that hit. They probably went it into the Redsox locker room and partied with the champagne, since it was probably already prepped up and waterproofed thinking the sox were in the playoffs.
