because they might have the best staff in baseball right now, either them or stl. if sanchez didnt flop until last night theyd actually have a shot at 1st in the division.

rule of thumb defending world champions are #1 until they are officially dethroned, but i put them at 2 because i think boston is just such a good team with lowell out, papi just started hitting, their starting SS has been out all year, dice k is a mess, and they played a good portion without youk....and they are still doing their thing.

long story short red sox 1, phillies 2, rest of mlb

barely top ten imo, I know they have had the injury bug,

but at some point that just part of your team

and Texas > LAA too. more I look at this its a wishlist rather then actual results
