2 Best Bets

Adam Wainwright looked terrific in winning his previous two starts while posting a stellar 1.15 ERA,before his last.

The right-hander is also 2-0 with a 0.52 ERA in six career games – including two starts - against the Rockies.

The Cardinals have also won nine of the last 11 meetings at Busch Stadium and enter this contest with red-hot first baseman Albert Pujols looking to reach base at least twice in a 16th consecutive game.

The 2008 NL MVP has gone a blistering 13 for 25 (.520) with five doubles, three home runs and eight RBIs over the last seven games while recording at least one hit in each contest.

The Cardinals have gone a perfect 5-0 in Adam Wainwright’s last five Friday starts and an impressive 4-1 in his last five home starts against a team with a losing record.

St. Louis is also 7-1 in their last eight home games against a left-handed starter, even though the Rockies are 4-1 in De La Rosa’s last five starts.

Looks like the Cards fly tonight.

Minnesota at Seattle

The Twins are 22-7 in their last 29 Friday games. the Mariners are 8-1 in their last Friday games. However, Seattle does not follow success well as they are 3-11 in their last 14 games following a win. In the last 27 games between these two teams, the OVER is 20-6-1 overall.
The Twins, who open a 10-game road trip in Seattle, have lost 11 of their last 13 outside of the Metrodome and are a league-worst 6-16 on the highway this season.

Minnesota’s Francisco Liriano is 0-3 with an 8.50 ERA in four starts since beating Seattle, who he faces again tonight, back on May 9.

But my play here is definatly on "OVER" the total 8
