Alomar the greatest second basemen I have ever seen play live. Only problem that may stop him from getting in first try is the Spitting Incident. Voters may hold that against him, if not then he has to be a first ballot HOFer.

McGriff will never get in let alone this year. His only hope was he needed to hit at least 500 homers.

I don't think Mattingly will ever be a HOF. Decent stats and a good glove isn't enough to get him in.
