Afternoon Game - Pitt @ Cubs

The play today is the Under 8

Morton pitching decent as of late, even though he got roughed up last time @ Cubs, he's made strides since as the young pitcher has found a little bit of a groove. Even with the bad starts @ CHC and @ Cincy he's had 5 out of the last 7 quality starts.

Lilly at home has posted a 1.89ERA throughout the season and 9 out of his past 10 have been quality starts as well. Lilly is quietly having his best season ever, and its been said this will be his last start this year probably. With that being said he'll want to finish strong and nothing points otherwise.

Lastly.... wind blowing in from left 10-15MPH.

With this being said going with the under 8, BoL to all!

To be honest --- I don't really like the under, but I don't really feel comfortable with the over either.

Karstens is pitching for pitt and most his appearances have been in relief. With that being said the bullpen will probably pitch a decent portion of this game. I say that because last start karstens only had 48 pitches but only went 3 innings. So leads me to believe they wont stretch him to much after being in the reliever role for a while.

Zambrano will hold his own for sure 2-3 runs probably, I just don't trust the Bucs pen, or even karstens for that matter as many of his last few relief appearances he got rocked in under 1-2 innings.

BoL with whatever you decide!
