Amazing Game 7 Stat

I'm not sure amazing is the correct adjective but this stat is pretty damn strong.

The home team has won the last eight times the World Series has featured a Game 7. The last road team to win a game 7 was the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates.

By the way....the unpire for tonight's game is Jerry Layne. The Cardinals are 7-1 in their last 8 games with Layne behind the plate.

The only thing that's going to make your 25* look like a winner is if and when the scoreboard reads final and the Cardinals have more runs than the Rangers.
