Angels v. Yankees - Betting info

At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Los Angeles Angels (2, Even) and New York Yankees (1.83, -120)

Angels are 7-2 mark in Haren’s last nine starts, while the Yankees are 4-17 in Burnett’s last 21 tries against winning teams.

Los Angeles will enter the series just a game back in the AL West standings and seven games back in the Wild-Card race. The Angels managed just four runs in winning two of three games against the Mariners over the weekend, which is a cause for concern going against the second-best offense in baseball. “We need more production, especially on the offensive side,” said Angels manager Mike Scioscia. “There has to be more growth offensively with us in this last third of the season.” Los Angeles is an AL-best 32-16 since June 13 and is 31-27 on the road during the 2011 campaign.

Angels starting pitcher Dan Haren is 12-6 with a 2.81 ERA in 24 starts this season and is looking to win his third consecutive start. He allowed just two runs and 11 hits over 17 frames in picking up victories against the Tigers and Twins in that span. The right-hander has been solid away from Angel Stadium, posting a 6-3 mark and 3.15 ERA, issuing just 10 walks in 88 2/3 innings. In eight career starts versus the Yankees, Haren is 4-1 with a 3.78 ERA. He will be making his first ever appearance at the new Yankee Stadium.
