Aroldis Chapman and Albert Pujols

Pujols underwent an MRI exam and received an anti-inflammatory shot on Monday after the slugger was scratched from the Cardinals' home game against the Red Sox due to a recurrence of tightness in his lower back. Pujols missed a week earlier in the spring with the same condition.

Anyone seen much of pitcher Aroldis Chapman signed with the Reds? comes with huge raps, could be something very special if he stays healthy.

As a Die hard Reds fan, I'm looking forward to seeing Chapman pitch myself.

I am looking forward to Dusty handling another can't miss pitching prospect. I think he is batting 1.000 in his failures to date.

Chapman has a good fastball.... and nothing else....yet.

He should start the season in AA and if he can prove to throw breaking stuff for strikes we'll see him in Cincy by the end of May.

Chapman prolly the most overated pitcher coming to the states in years....guy has one pitch and that a fastball and nothing to go with it....Major League hitters will TEE OFF on his ass...will be hurt by the all star break and will be years before a pitching coach can develop him, dont expect much from him....

So far this spring he (Chapman) has a 1.04 ERA in 8.2 innings.

he's allowed 5 runs (1 Earned) with 6 hits and 4 walks.

Not too shabby but he's got a lot of work to do.
