Nice. Gonzalez playing way over his head, we'll take the bodies coming in return.

Yunel has been a big disappointment this year. Trade makes sense, they are willing to do anything to win for Bobby this year.

good riddance yunel... he's got a major attitude problem and plays lazy all the time.

never liked him, and very glad to see him leave.

braves always seem to do well with prospects in these kinds of trades... tim collins looks legit already. 2.00ish era at AA.

this also means infante will see more AB's

definite win for atlanta

Many of Escobar's teammates wanted to see him traded, according to MLB.com's Mark Bowman.

Alex Gonzo is a big piece of chit and will prove it once again stupid trade that will backfire big time.

anything is better than escobar and reyes... trust me

escobar has the worst attitude on the field and is the most arrogant piece of sh*t you'll ever see. especially for a guy who can't hit and doesn't run hard (the worst overall baserunner I've ever seen, he got picked off 3rd base TWICE last year and has been thrown out rounding a base.)
Atlanta would much rather take a chance on 2 young guys and a veteran SS who plays good D (who won't even start everyday considering Infante) than have a Cuban whose only cares about himself and plays stupid. Oh and not to mention Jo-Jo Reyes has been around for years and never once impressed. (career ERA of 6.40 and he's now 26 years old) Maybe the change of scenery will do these guys good, but as a Braves fan I've had enough of them and glad to see them go.

I know you're a toronto fan Nac... and the only thing I can say to you is "I'm Sorry".

Do you honestly think the Braves who are leading the NL would be "sellers" at this point? No. Toronto got jipped. Big time.
