Luis Severino is 2nd youngest Yankee with 9+ K in postseason game.

Youngest?

22-yr-old Dave Rightetti in 1981 ALDS Game 2

It's today's baseball Home Runs and K's. it is what it is. But let's not forget about the 127 Walks the 128 Runs scored the 52 HR's and 114 RBIs .627 SLG and the 1049 OPS What else did you want the kid to do. Yankees are never in this position without this kid. They would have been out of it at the break.

I agree 100%

Just posting info like I have since I started this thread 14 months ago. I share the good and the bad. I'm a down to earth fan. In no way a fan boy. Really enjoy when the young guys play well but also going to comment and post info when they are playing bad. Just happy it worked out with them beating Cleveland. Anything can change in the snap of a finger but Judge is absolutely clueless at the plate right now. Automatic out.

Judge had 16 strikeouts in the ALDS.

No other player in history has ever had more than 13 strikeouts in a single series.

Judge is the first player in MLB history to have three 4-strikeout games in a single postseason.

You really gonna just pop on in here and call me negative?

How many Aaron Judge pats on the back in here from me? 31

Negative ... 5

Like I said ... just a fan. Not an over the top goofball wearing Jeter jersey's and shaking my Yankees foam finger in front of the TV

nyy very dangerous right now and ahead of schedule. they seem to be relishing the underdog role this time. in the past when they won so many world series they were usually expected to. if they are ahead after 4 or 5 innings they will be tough to beat with the deep and loaded bullpen they can bring in.

I'm a fan of the names on the tickets in my pocket. There's nothing wrong with the finger raising fan that lives and dies with his team but that's just not me. With that said I thought Judge needed some defending. Sorry my comment bothered you and I'm sorry that I looked at the whole body of work and made comments from that.

Gary Sanchez has 3 batted balls 110 MPH+ in the last 2 games ... The Pirates had 11 batted balls 110 MPH+ all season.

El Gary is the fourth Yankee, 24-or-younger, to hit 3HR in a single postseason, joining Bird (2017), Mantle (1956) and Keller (1939)

I like this Yankees team. I hate the Yankees but I totally respect their legacy. I really like how their getting more and more home grown, and how can you hate Judge? He's so much fun to watch at the plate. I love homeruns, and baseball in the Bronx in October is just different.

Judge 4th HR this postseason, the most of any Yankee rookie in a postseason.
