Baltimore Season Wins O/U

Baltimore Season Total UNDER 76.5 (-115)

I know Buck Showalter has done a fine job and their "arrow is pointing up" so to speak but this division is just brutally tough for them. Their schedule to open the season is absolute murder so Im looking for a awful start.

I think people are optimistic because they had some youngsters and added DLEE and Vlad for instance.

However that rotation isn't good at all. So under probably is a good bet IMO.

Playing .500 is optimistic for them but I think it carries over from last year. If they could come out of the gates quick & I do think they could flirt with .500

Not enough pitching to keep up with the division rivals (or anyone else)

Usually when you are below .500 in the division, you're below .500 overall

Nice additions to give them some veteran leadership, will certainly improve but I'll stick with the under on this one.

o's were 34-23 after buck took over last year. the starting pitching staff is young but very talented and showed signs the second half of last year of becoming one of the best in the AL. the bullpen has been a problem for years, so i take a wait and see approach with them. they appear to have improved enough to be more than completely inept but they aren't trustworthy. the lineup should be able to put up some runs. i wouldn't expect anything out of vlad or lee. angelos continues to overpay for washed up has beens. jones, wieters and markakis are becoming big time players and provide some solid pop though. i think it's a 500 team or better if the young staff can hold it together for the whole season. they're probably a year away from being competitive with the top of the division, but i think they'll hold their own.
