very tough for a NL team to outscore an AL team though Rome.....you know this

Philly's lineup is sick and if they had a DH thrown in there like the Yanks they would outscore NY IMO......

Gotta agree, Yanks #1 offense. National League teams at a huge disadvantage in this conversation. That being said, as big a disadvantage without the DH, they still have the 2nd best lineup with ease.

your right Rome it is apples and oranges but we all agree that Philly in the AL (with DH) has great shot at #1

I never thought it would be Placido Polanco who would be the next .400 hitter

still think NYY is better - I mean Nick Johnson is the Yankees DH, make them an NL team with a pitcher batting and their still better

well if NY and Philly are 1 and 2 we all know who 3 is when Kinsler gets back

Borbon, Young, Hamilton, Vlad, Cruz, Kinsler, Davis, Salty/Teagarden, Elvis (Borbon still has a lot to prove and catcher (8th spot) is so so but still very dangerous lineup....
