Blaze'z gow!
Yesterday we split with Boston RL losing and then the Rockies / Dodgers Over hitting.
Today is a massive card and ALOT of chalk. BLAZE really isn't too big on chalk unless its just a standout type of play. I do see one i really like in ATL, but not sure i can throw the dough. GOW: 3x Arizona Diamondbacks +105 I know it's tough to put money down on Joe Saunders. It really is....I've asked myself before "why Joe Saunders", but i do not understand the line here and think its based on being at home. The DBacks just clobbered the Rockies and Justin Upton went balls deep on Ubaldo in company. The snakes get their closer Putz back tonight and are facing the lowly Padres and possibly their worst pitcher in Moseley. Now don't get me wrong he is not horrible. But once you dust off those square stats you realize what you really have. Have you ever heard the phrase " you can shine a turd, but it is still a turd! " Well i think looking at his basic statistics show you he's not a turd. Let's jump into some deep shit here. Moseley is 3-9 with 3.19 era and 1.27 whip (see not awful). Any casual observer would say " bad luck " or " lack of run support " which we can say lack of run support with any Padre pitcher. He's 3-9 for a reason and that reason is simple. He sucks at home! .. .. .. I know, how can a Padre pitcher NOT like pitching at home? Home: 3.91 era 1.40 whip .271 BAA (batting average against) Road: 2.55 era 1.17 whip .241 BAA Lets jump into the DeLorean and look at some stats that have accumulated over the season. One thing that stuck out to me was how bad he is with runners in scoring position. His normal BB/9 is 2.71 (very good). With runners in scoring position it jumps to 6.57 BB/9. Which is a great thing if you're on the other side. He also sports a 253 BAA, but when he has someone in scoring position it jumps to 284. So i think its pretty clear this guy isnt comfortable when the pressure kicks in and he has to make pitches. So tonight he faces an offense that is pretty hot too. Joe Saunders to my surprise has nice stats against lefties. .193 BAA which is fantastic and his K/rate against lefties almost doubles what he does against RHB. Also something i like about Saunders here is that he's much better on the road. 226 BAA on the road compared to almost 300 at the launching pad in Arizona. The last thing about Saunders that i want to throw out is that he's actually very good with runners in scoring position. Now like i mentioned the Snakes have nice momentum after slaying the Rockies and were at home this weekend and had the day off yesterday. The Padres were in Philly yesterday and might have jet lag coming back across the country. Snakes take this game and so do we. 1x Baltimore / Toronto O8 / -120 (5 Dimes) I like this play for a few reasons. One is that we're talking about a pretty good slugging Toronto team back inside of their dome. This team can score some runs and score them in bunches. Another thing is the opposing pitcher Jake Arrieta. He's 5th in HR/9. He (like Chicks) love the long ball. He also struggles to get out lefties and the Jays have a few of those that are pretty good. Brandon Morrow has found his groove lately, but he's been awful at home. Baltimore has a decent lineup (Adam Jones, Wieters, Markakis, Reynolds and they get Vlad back tonight. ) I can definitely see 8 runs and possibly even 10+. I just dont see these two teams having pitcher duels. 1x LAA - 133 Weaver vs anyone is a mismatch and the Angels have been playing good ball lately. They let one get away last night, but tonight they even out the series. Josh Tomlin on the mound for the Tribe and although he's been pretty good....He will struggle with all these lefties the Angels will throw out there. Jered Weaver doesn't need much help either. Angels bring it tonight. Other hard leans....Oak/TB O6.5, LAD, ATL. I REALLY want to throw down on ATL....i just wish it was cheaper. I can't see it failing. BOL tonight Fella's!

Also be on the lookout for WNBA right before the games start (if you're into those things). I will surely have a bomb with 5 games on the schedule. I just need to narrow down my leans.
