Boston paper reports, "Theo to the Cubs"

It was also reported on a local station that Theo and his wife were spotted at a Starbucs, having some java while probably house hunting

Hopefully the fun begins. It's been a long fakin 103 years

I guess Theo doesn't want to win anymore championships.

If Theo manages to win a World Series with the Cubs after doing it with the Red Sox (twice), he might become the youngest executive in the Hall of Fame.

And yes. It is buy buy. Cubs will pay a pretty penny. But I hope it works out for them and wish them all the luck.

Have you seen the contracts the Cubs have with players on their roster? Whatever they give Boston is fakin peanuts

No players from the present roster are to be used. That is a disappointment. The last draft the Cubs had, was supposedly one of their all time best. They went after players who were offered scholarships in both football and baseball, but Ricketts spent the funds to get them signed. I am sure a couple of these will go

I don't like that Theo is leaving, but can't blame the guy. New accomplishment for him.

I wonder who the Sox go after? Maybe keep it in house and hire Cherrington.

$3.500,000 is what I heard is the price tag. A mere pittance compared to Sorry's $54M and Z's $19M

Red Sox are pikers asking for that kinda money.

Why? That's fairly cheap for a guy who will rebuild your farm system and give you hope.

My point exactly. They should have asked for more, but they are the pikers

Two of the most overpaid, orver rated players in sports reside in Philly. Something to be proud of
