Cards tonight

I hate taking favorites in baseball in the regular season. But, personally, anything goes in the playoffs. That being said is there any reason not to love St louis tonight? I understand that Gallardo is a very good pitcher and has been great this postseason. But I just cant get around the fact that he is 1-7 with 5.66 ERA against the cards. His best performance was the last time in St Lou this year and he still gave up 3 runs in 6 Inn. Throw in the fact that Carpenter is on a major roll and has given up 2 earned at home in his last 17 inn vs Mill. Albert is also coming off a 4 hit game.

I know its a lot to lay against a good team and good pitcher but home crowd, hot pitcher, hall of fame hitter on a roll, and a pitcher against with awful stats vs and I don't know why I wouldnt go HUGE on St Louis.

Am I missing something?

I like the Cards also, but at the end of the day anything can happen.

If Pujols keeps swinging the way he is he will take the game over himself.

Mil is very good and Fielder and Braun can take over a game too...I just think there is a lot to like with the Cards...we'll see...good luck!

Gallardo's record against StL is a major reason I'm on the Cards as well.
