Post Chicago Cubs baby

My Cubs at The Brew Crew

Demster went 4-0 with a 2.40 ERA in five starts versus Milwaukee in 2008, striking out 28 in 30 innings, and is 8-1 with a 2.92 ERA lifetime as a starter against the Brewers.

Suppan is 6-6 with a 3.60 ERA in 19 lifetime starts against Chicago. Despite a few negative numbers, Suppan is 22-8 against the money line against division opponents over the last two seasons.

The Cubs are 56-34 (+13.3 Units) when the money line is -100 to -150, and 28-14 OVER vs. teams whose hitters strike out seven or more times a game.

Milwaukee isn’t hitting to start the 2009 season and is 11-24 after batting .225 or worse over a five-game span.

CHICAGO CUBS are 39-15 (+22.5 Units) against the money line vs. teams who strand 7.5 or more runners on base per game over the last 2 seasons.

recommend:Chicago Cubs

I found this stat after my post that got my attention, but that's ok..
It makes it that much more exciting for me.

The Cubs come in just 1-4 in Ryan Dempster's last 5 starts as a favorite and face a Milwaukee team that is 6-2 in Jeff Suppan's last 8 home starts against teams with a winning record.

conflicting stats, and it's anyone's game right now....1-1, going to the bottom of the 3rd.

guess we'll see.......
