when your 3-7 hitters cant go from 1st to 3rd on a gapper, or score from 2nd on a normal basehit you are not going to get far

I still have faith in the over, but Chi Sox are done.

they are no longer baseball fans, not even concerned all of a sudden.

never really considered baseball one of their "favorite sports" just like to watch it when it's on

the list of BS just never really ends. and at the end of every argument similar to this i hear something like "talk to me when you get a ring", you know, since every diehard sox fan got a ring for their front running efforts back in 2005

The sad thing is, that Chi Sox are out hitting them by 2 but yet still down 2-0

sox just are lifeless...cheaped out big time and have a buncha sluggers who cant slug..won with "ozzie" ball, aka good pitching and timely hitting...we have neither of those really right now

sox will win 70 games, IMO

sox fans, realistic ones anyway, have to admit that they pitched out of their minds and way over their heads in 05

they got hot at the right time IMO and that's what did it for them

cotts, hermanson, politte, contreras all had great years and have done relatively nothing since

pods became irrelevant after that season, tad did too. still blows my mind that they didn't have a guy hit over .300 for the season on the entire roster

^^^

obviously they pitched out of their minds

all those complete games and the emergence of bobby jenks after hermanson went down...just fate at that point..hard to imagine being a red sox fan or something like that winning all the time
