Correlated parlay

My local is offering correlated parlay of RLs and total, whats the best way to play this?
I was thinking -1.5 on home team and over, last nights late games a ton of -1.5 home team covers but all of em were still under the total .
So hmm whats the best way to do this? Is the correlation even there?

Dogs with overs and Favs with unders is the way most contests end. Not all but a majority.

Basically what I am saying is if a favorite covers it usually comes with an under more so than an over and vice versa.
