Post Credit to Texas Rangers

I will be the first to admit that I never really give this team credit but you don't see many teams in baseball go to World Series two years in a row, especially teams not named the Ny Yankees.

Nolan Ryan really turned around this franchise and his biggest gamble and best move might have been when he didn't panic and fire Ron Washington when he was caught smoking crack in the closet (j/k). But seriously in a day and age when everyone panics and "fires" people because of what people think - he deserves credit.

I can't see either the Brewers or Cards beating them but regardless what an awful World Series, lol

But Texas deserves credit!

Dr. Jack

I am a Rangers fan, and think it could be a very exciting WS especially if it is St. Louis. Your comment about being an awful WS is what is wrong with baseball.

With all the promotion through ESPN, and other media outlets, it is about NY and Boston and to hell with everybody else. The reason NY is so popular is because about 90% of the Population hates their ass.

I think it will be an awful WS not because Yankees/Red Sox are not there but because I think Texas could sweep or win in 5. No big time pitching matchups either.

Why will Texas/St. Louis be so exciting?

I agree with Doc here. The rangers have too much for either NL team. I won't need to tivo anything to watch. May wager small amount on sweep though.

I agree with DR. Jack and RHGraham except I give ST. Louis/Milwaukee a shot to beat Texas.

I think St. Louis or Milwaukee has a decent shot.

Just curious--Who led the majors in shutouts this year?

Rangers...Pitching was pretty good, starters not so great in playoffs, maybe they get hot now.
