Cubs need starters and he is 5 years younger than Marshall. Marshall's value is with a real contender and Cubs are not. Theo may not reach the goals desired, but it seems he is getting younger players, who will have value in two years or so, when he hopes some of the Cub draft picks will be in a position to help win.

You can be young and shitty or young and good. Wood is legitimately good with upside. He can zing it up there 94-95 from the left the kid has a future.

The Reds are borderline out of control dumping prospects at this point.
