d1 Monday

Another day of profits yesterday, looking to keep it going today with a smaller card. Here are my plays:

Atlanta Braves -105 1.05 units to win 1
Beachy was one of the best starters in the minors last year, coupled with his good spring, I think he'll be solid. The Brewers, on the other hand, start Chris Narveson, whose spring was definitely less than impressive. Brewers have not looked strong so far this season and the Braves have, think they'll take this one down.

Parlay: Braves -105 and Total Over 8.5 Runs -125 .5 units to win 1.23
I also think this one is going over. Even though Beachy is good, he's still inexperienced, and both these teams can hit. Now even more important that the Braves win, but feeling good about this one.

Detroit Tigers +105 1 unit to win 1.05
The recent success of the Orioles actually helps in this case because it gives value to the Tigers, who can definitely mash, and will have Rick Porcello starting, poised to right his sophomore slump. Good value here against Jake Arrieta, whose spring ERA of roughly 6 is definitely not compelling.

May add later on some night games depending on these results. BOL to everyone today.

Tigers line changed from +105 to +116 so revised it in my plays. Thanks to those who said gl before.

d1 ... if you already played the tigers at +105, then how can ya change it and get them at +116?? not a biggie, just curious if there is a way to do this? and if its cause you hadnt put the bet in yet, then why not say you like the tigers, and are waiting to lock in a line later, and once you actually make the play, post the line you get?

gl on the plays though today. i like the over in the braves game as well

No biggie, pretty much I list my plays, put them in, but if I see a more favorable line, before the action begins, I can change it. The plays were posted long before the games started, so I re-placed my play with the more favorable line.

Thanks to everyone and hope we're all having good days.

Not a very good start to the day. 1-2 for -.5 units. I'll update my record accordingly with one added play for tonight.

Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals Over 9 Runs EVEN 1 unit to win 1 unit
Charlie Morton and Kyle Lohse are not pitchers that scare me, and 9 runs for these two is not particularly high. I expect Big Al to wake up and the rest of the Cards lineup to follow suit. Pirates lineup isn't bad and they did some hitting this opening weekend. This one's going over.
