d1 Tuesday

Not a good day yesterday, but Uconn winning was a good call. Here's what I have for today's full card:

Arizona Diamondbacks +134 2 units to win 2.68
I will be fading the Cubs as a favorite until further notice. I like the Dbacks young team, and see some great value here. Two pitchers that aren't very good or experienced, but I think Enright for the Dbacks is a little better. Bigger play for me.

San Diego Padres +117 1 unit to win 1.17
I'm a big believer in top prospect starters who see success in their rookie year having some struggles once they hit the second season. I've known about Madison Bumgarner for a few years and think he will be great, but Harang is still the better pitcher at this point.

Washington Nationals +150 1 unit to win 1.5
Jason Marquis does still know how to win games even with less than impressive numbers. I'm not in love with Anibal Sanchez, so great value here on the Nats at this price. This one probably goes over as well.

Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals Over 8.5 Runs -105 1.05 units to win 1 unit
Missed this one last night with two average pitchers, but I think tonight's two are just as average, or worse. I will keep pounding this one; Big Al can't be held down for this long.

Los Angeles Dodgers -105 2.1 units to win 2 units
Kershaw has the best lefty stuff in baseball. Great price on him after he out-dueled Tim Lincecum on Opening Day. Not in love with Chacin for the Rocks. Bigger play for me because I do think Kershaw is that good.

Most likely will add on, good luck to all.

Just removed my play on the Nationals for later. I was going off the Anibal Sanchez that I've seen in past seasons, not this year's spring training. I just looked up his numbers, 3-0 with 1.89 ERA, pretty impressive. Going to stay away from this one.

Thanks to those who said GL.

I don't get it. Yesterday you updated a play to a better line when it became available later on, and today you are just deleting a play an hour later. Wouldn't you have to by back the other side, and lose the juice? Just curious on how you are able to do this.

Anyway... GL with the picks. Like LA tonight!!

JML, I'm not quite sure what's so hard to get. With a local guy, hours before games, my plays are not locked in an absolute sense. Have the freedom to cancel a wager, or adjust to a better line if it becomes available. All lines come from Bodog. Maybe this is just a perk with my guy, but I'm not complaining.

GL to you as well, I'm liking LA a lot!
