Does Roy Halladay get traded and where?

Sounds like Toronto is serious about trading him. I have a special interest because of my fantasy ownership

Will he get traded and where, if he does?

Here are the odds Buster Olney set

Phillies 5:2
Dodgers 8:1
Angels 8:1
Brewers 12:1
Red Sox 15:1
Rockies 20:1
Rangers 20:1
Yankees 20:1
Cardinals 50:1
Mets 100:1

Seriously the Blue Jays aren't dumb enough to trade him within the division are they? lol

Would think either the NL or the Angels. Don't really see him being traded in division unless the Yanks or Sox really overpay

I was thinking the same thing. What about the Cubs or White Sox? I think would both be serious contenders too, but apparently not from what he thinks

Cubs aren't able to add any payroll while they are trying to sell franchise

I think if he goes anywhere it would be to an NL east team to give them the edge to push them over the top

The athletics GM (forgot his name) had no problems trading to teams within the division before, JP Riccardi was brought up by this guy and is still good friends with him, any chances Riccardi has the same way of thinking?. I believe that the red sox and yanks actually have a pretty good chance at getting him... But the phillies have the best chance, need pitching, have prospects and the SMART idea would be to get him out of the division, hell, even better, the conference

I agree, when its a 3 month rental and the contract expires after this season. However Halladay is signed through next year. It's one thing to give up on this season and trade within the division, but by trading Halladay it says you're giving up on this season AND next season. Not gonna happen imo. But who knows, crazier stuff has happened before lol

on paper sure i guess, but its not how your playing in july and the world series appearance has everything to do with IF your pitching can win when it matters. Thier top guys need to prove themselves in those spots before we hand them the NL

both leagues wide open imo
