I will Not continue to waste anyone's time if this play isn't a winner... That said...

I'm going with Houston tonight (+105) @ Pittsburgh... Here's why...

Wandy is having a great season. 2.97 ERA with 6 wins. 2.37 ERA over the last 3 games going 2-1. He went 7 innings and gave up no runs in his last outing against a potent Texas lineup. He gave up no runs in 5 of his starts this year
and going at least 7 innings 8 times. Six Pirate batters have faced Wandy in the past. Collectively, they are batting .279 with one homer.

Hunter Pence is is 5 for 13 against Karstens with a homer and a double and no strikeouts. Lee is 4 for 14 with a double with no strikeouts. As this indicates, Karstens may have trouble getting through the middle of Houston's lineup.

Don't ask why, but I was very close to choosing the Twins over the Rays instead, mainly cause, that play didn't make much sense either???

Yes, Houston is baseball's worst team regarding record - no doubt. However, Pittsburgh isn't exactly the cream of the crop. As the line indicates close to a pick, it would not be far fetched to see the Astros take one in Pittsburg.

Again... A loss here, and i'll be praying for a speedy Keith return.
