End of Season Awards

AL

Manager = Ron Washington (pushes all the right buttons, his players love to play for him and he had the 2nd best record in the AL)

GM = John Daniels (losses out on Cliff Lee but gets Beltre and Napoli)

MVP = Miguel Cabrera (honestly an argument can be made for 4 or so players)

Rookie = Hellickson (although if Jennings had played more he would have won it. Dude is a stud)

Cy= Verlander

NL

Manager = LaRussa (hate the guy, but did a great job with injuries etc)

GM = Doug Melvin of Milwaukee (rebuilt the bullpen, go the starters needed, put a nice team together)

MVP = Matt Kemp (not going to be popular but his year was ridiculous and very well deserved. I dont care if they did not make the playoffs this guy was unbelievable)

Rookie = Craig Kimbrel

Cy = Kershaw (triple crown of pitching in NL this year. Just as good as Verlander this year and no one talks about him much)

In regards to Kemp the award is for most valuable player, not best. I don't see how much value he added since his team was .500.
