Oh yeah, watching that game, watching bad beat after bad beat, crazy, like a late score in a football game or something.

Jason Inglett, 5 hrs in 800 major league at bats.......unreal that these closers get paid millions of dollars for 5 minutes of work every 3rd day.

Fuking ridiculous if you ask me. That guy should never pitch again, I bet Wandy wants to kill him right now, to do all that work and put them in a spot to win and this guy blows it 1 inning

can't think of a worst bad beat in baseball than having under 6 in a game and the home team hits a walk off grand slam in the bottom half of an extra inning when tied 1-1

The Astros' manager should be canned. After Lindstrum got the 1st man on base after the home run, he should have been taken out. f'n losers..

Noooo he can't do that.....he is the CLOSER, he must stay in the game no matter how badly he gets bludgeoned. I swear these managers have this mentality with closers that kills me. The guy threw 30+ pitches before the game winning hit, take his ass out and get a fresh arm in there!

my favourite was recently when leyland left in valverde and threw like 54 pitches...wtf..a closer throws 54 pitches? managers rarely let a pitcher throw 100 in a game these days and he left a closer in to throw that many in less than 2 innings?

Hey Boys,

Another reason why baseball will take years off our lives. Trying to win a bet in baseball is the toughest thing to do when you have these meat ball closers. It makes me sick & sometimes lose sleep at night over these morons who cant protect a lead.
