Thumbs up Fade the Marlins Tuesday

A lot of the Marlins veterans are really upset that the Marlins placed Cody Ross on waivers and let the Giants take him for nothing more than money.

Even though the Marlins have no realistic shot at the playoffs it was a message to the team that if there was any hope - forget about it.

Cody Ross is not known much outside of Florida and he is not a star but he was a solid veteran that the team and fans liked. He was reported to be one of the most popular players in the clubhouse and several of the vets made it known they were not happy over this move. Guys like Josh Johnson and Dan Uggla spoke out about this and other players have been vocal as well.

I look for Florida to be flat in their next game which is Tuesday @ NY.

I would have been fading the Marlins in this game regardless of who pitches and what teams were playing. Obviously JJ is their best pitcher so take it with a grain of salt.

When this happens, it doesn't mean a guaranteed loss or anything but I think fading Marlins in this spot is a great opportunity

The Mets will be a small underdog in this game at home Tuesday (Dickey/Johnson). Greek opened Marlins at -125

5* Ny Mets

GL everyone!

Good luck Jack, and I am surprised they would let him go for nothing. And people wonder why no one goes to the games? This is a pretty good example as to why.
