Fathers Day MLB
Went 3-0 yesterday which meant that I "SHOWED YOU THE MONEY" lol.Today i got a 3 play which i hope to continue the profits.
LA Dodgers at LA Angels Lackey who went 7IP 10H 3ER 0BB's had his best curve ball and was able to have full control without walking any batters. I think he throws a gem here tonight on ESPN. I believe he will have a lot of success with some comfort from the offense who has just been killing LHP, which I'll get to in a second. More on Lackey he has 21 scoreless innings vs. the Dodgers at home in inter league play where he is 4-0 with a .33 ERA. He is going for his 9-0 record in inter league play overall where he is 8-0 in 10 starts with a 2.00 ERA. He owns the trio of hitters from LA Blake/Eithier/Kemp are just 4-34 against him and the Dodgers are scoring just 3.06 runs per 9 innings in their last 10 games vs. RHP. Kershaw on the other hand may look good ont he surface with 3.29ERA last 3 starts, but he has gone just 13.2IP and he has a WHIP of 1.68... Yikes! Angels are a patient hitting team as they proved against him the first time they faced him he wen 5IP gave up 4H but 4BB and 1ER in the 3-1 loss last month. Dodgers are 6-13 last 19 meetings between the Angels and I expect the Angels to take the rubber game here as they are 8-1 in their last 9 as favorites. Angels .352, 8.82 Runs/9 innings last 5 games vs. LHP, and they have a couple of hitters that just have been killing LHP including Rivera .431 this year! The same series between the Diamondbacks and the Mariners that hurt our chances of a perfect POD week when the Mariners scored 4 runs in the Bottom of the 8th in Game 1 to go on to win 4-3 in that game. I recovered with a POD winner yesterday to move to 4-1 on the week so no harm no foul on the POD front. However, as the Mariners are going for the sweep I'm on this game for 2DIMES! The line opened at -175 in favor of the Mariners to sweep. With Felix Hernandez on the mound (2-0, 1.04WHIP, .78ERA) there would be no reason for the public to be betting on them at 78% right? I can agree with that, but this morning the line has dropped from -175 to -160 according to my gut feeling I do expect the Mariners to win this game it will be closer than many think. I will put a Halo on this play: LA Angels **** 4 units **** Arizona at Seattle I think Vegas is expecting a solid performance out of LHP Doug Davis and for Davis this has to be frustrating that he is going up against an ace in Felix. Why? Davis is just 3-8 despite a solid 3.72ERA on the season! No huge bounce back start spot here he was okay in his last start going 5.2 giving up 3ER what catches my eye is he has to be frustrated and the fact that he has a 2.10 ERA during the day vs. his 4.83ERA at night. Many people tend not to pay too much attention to stats like this, but I view them as a critical part of my capping, because pitching is all about routine and preparation. Davis has only had 2 bad starts in his last 10 outings so it's not crazy to say he'll pitch well. Felix on the other hand should be just as dominant as he has a 2.00 ERA during the day compared to 3.07 night. Under is 6-1 in umpire Johnsons L7 time behind home plate. Under is 22-5-1 L28 games on grass for the Mariners. this one flies "UNDER" the radar of 7.5 **** 2 units **** Texas at San Fransisco 77% of the betting public is all over Texas and Millwoods pitching streak which is 3-0 21.2IP 1.06 WHIP and 0.42 ERA. He'll go up against Zito who is 2-1 with a2.05WHIP and 7.90 ERA last 3. No brainer right? Take the Rangers at -135 and walk away with cash! Wrong! Now I'm not saying Texas won't win, but it's definitely not that easy either! The line has basically stayed at -135 since last night and even has gone down to -133 and up to -140 in some places, but with 77% of the public on the same side you would expect the opposite to happen if it was a "sure thing." What I am expecting is a bounce back start from Barry Zito who has pitched very well at home this year! He'll face a lineup struggling to find any sort of offense vs. LHP .169AVG 2.60R/9 LAST 10 GAMES. Both bullpens have been excellent with the Giants having a 1.41ERA last 10 games so if Zito gets into a little trouble say 5IP 3ER we are still looking good. TExas 2.87ERA last 5 or 3.82 over last 10 out of their bullpen is not too bad either. The under is 39-13-1 int he last 53 Ranger games. It is 14-3 last 17 times they were favorites. I'm expecting a close low scoring game here today. This one also flies "UNDER" the radar of 8 **** 3 units ****
