Not right away but he will get in. Hard to keep a guy out who has 493 HR and not linked to PE's in this era, has to figure in when it will keep a lot of guys out

remembering those futile years with the cubs, not a chance in hell. he was terrible by then and continued to hang on for more years after he stunk with the cubs. he couldnt bend over to catch a low throw and his defense was poor. he was a "me" guy and i hate those type of players.

futile years with cubs?

i remember one of his 3 years though he hit over .300, 30hrs, 100+ RBI, OPS .900 +

he was very goot player for a long time, never considered the best 1B in teh game, i say no, but may get in on his 6th or 7th ballot
