Good day yesterday. The Pirates didn't let me down (they lost). The Reds looked as good as I expected against the Astros, and even though I lost with the Braves, I thought Derek Lowe would have a good game and he lost 1-0. That's the way it goes.

My favorite trend is to pick good pitchers as underdogs. Felix Hernandez is a good pitcher. So is Mark Buehrle. And if I'm going to do that, going against crappy pitchers as favorites, makes sense too.
