Detroit wants to win NOW. and Turner, if the deal is done, doesn't travel alone

Garza, August/September, with a shit team, 6-2, ERA 2.24

Turner may never reach those stats

You must be drinking, cause at least for me, this comment of yours has me discombabulated

Last year, meaning next year?

This year, Dempster,T Wood, Mulholm, Wells, Volstad and Garza is still on the roster. Last season, they lost 2 starters the first week. won't come up short for arms again.. And, who cares about 2012..it is the Moon and the Stars that count and if the Mayan calendar is correct, there will not be a 2013

yes, sorry...this coming year....duh

if you are counting on that rotation to do anything special then its YOU thats been drinking my friend...lol. Dempster is OLD, Garza is solid, Wood, Maholm, Wells, and Volstad are all #5 starters.....

also, Ian stewart at 3rd, a rookie at first, no power at 2nd, CF, or RF.....

but you are right...we are all going to die this year and I feel bad 99.999999% of cubs fans will never get to see a WS victory

I am not counting on the Cubs winning anything this year. It was time to toss out the old(Like Cuntyboy) and bring in the new, regardless of where they finish. If doing this was up to Hendry, Z and Aramis would still be wearing a Cubs uni

You guys are trippin Garza is cash money and I would give up Turner for him right now as I am sure so will the Tigers. The problem is everytime I hear the Tigers and a trade other teams want Turner and Castellanos.

While I always say prospects are just that, prospects, I still would also feel uncomfortable giving them both up. You always need to keep something/someone in reserve for future trades.

Turner and a bone should get the deal done for Garza though IMO because one Garza is no longer cheap nearing 10 million annually and second he is only under team control through 2013. We shall see.

Just refreshing to have someone trying to get prospects to Chicago and knowing they won't just play for the I-Cubs until they are 30 and then figure out they aren't MLB material.

Don't think it would be what the tigers need... To me they need some more power from the hot corner and to get aj back on track along with a healthy bb and av
