Hey Boys,

Maybe its just me, but I think Oswalts better days are behind him and not sure if this would be a good trade. Hell, if the GM of Philadelphia had both ores in the water, he would have kept Cliff Lee along with Halladay. I think that was the mistake, you could have had the best 1-2 punch in baseball with Hammels as a 3rd starter. I think that is where they dropped the ball & honestly dont believe Oswalt will be the answer.

its obv a mistake he is trying to make up for by getting OSWALT. IT CANT BE A BAD TRADE THEY ARE NOT GIVING UP ANYTHING. THIS TRADE IS FOR NEXT YEAR AS MUCH AS THIS YEAR

i am aware dude is not there...go figure...they kept him up at the beginning when he blew azz...then he settled down and had been pitching well...then he has one big blow up against st. louis and they send him down...blanton and his 6+ era > kendrick i guess

read an article where amaro is interested in dan haren...guess he goes with the phillies tradition of having pitchers that give up shit loads of home runs...phillies already have 1st and 2nd for most home runs given up in a career by pitchers...maybe if haren pitches long enough they will end up with 1,2,3

oswalt deal may fold phils wont guarantee 3rd year at 16 mil and I agre he will be 36 then. We have Jamie Moyer already. Move on to haren but in true Phillies fashion will prob end up with Jeremy Guthrie PHUCK
