Wouldn't it mean more no more Matsui than no more Damon?

Damon can still DH and still fill in the outfield. Damon is not lacking in offense still and can still fill in the outfield more than Matsui and his wonky legs.

Damon wants 3-4 years.Yanks only wanted 2 years tops. This i would assume means Johnnys gone.Yanks love Melky's D in center.Yanks don't want just one person as there dh.They want Posada..than arod and everyone ese to dh so there legs stay strong in sept and oct

I think Godzilla will be back and Damon gone

Yanks also sent Bruney to the Nats for a PTBNL

Yanks will get a good player for Bruney. It's a rule 5 draft.Nationals have first pick and the yankees will tell the Nationals who to pick.Than the nationals are going to announce he's the player that was dealt for Bruney

I heard an interview with Michal Kay in which he was stating the Yanks receive a lot of advertising dollars because of Godzilla> Slow down Yankee haters with you obvious money comments. Couple this with hopefully obtaining Granderson and resigning Mutsui makes more sense.
