I do agree that the Rangers are the clear cut favs to win the division but this move will make it a little more interesting.... good move for anaheim considering how bad Joe Saunders has been this year

Haren's had some long ball issues but there are worse things to have as a pitcher than that. I attribute alot of that to the fact he's got one of the best K:BB ratio's in the game and hitters know he's going to be around the plate.
He could be walking 2-3 before the big fly (like joe saunders)

Haren's a nice player. The only way LAA gets back into it is if stud K. Morales somehow makes a comeback... Although Napoli has been pretty decent I guess.... considering.

What about Haren's fantasy value, Up, Down or stay the same?

I have him in like 33 leagues, OK maybe 2

Goes to a better pitcher's park, but goes to AL with DH.

Better team, better defense also. I think his fantasy value goes up somewhat

I believe I read where they will have him beyond this season, so it may be for this year, but I really think for the future. It sounds to me, they will be looking for a bat too & if they can get a good one, who knows what will happen in the final 2 months.
