So far this postseason there have been more than a few brutal calls and the sad part is that these are supposedly the best umpires in baseball doing these games.

More and more I am convinced that instant replay should be used more in baseball than just whether it was a homerun or not. I would like to see each team given one challenge per/game that can only be used from the 7th inning on and if a game goes into extras then like in the NFL or college it can come from the booth that a replay is needed.

Should also add so nobody thinks my feelings are because these calls went against me in fact the majority of them went my way and last nights I had no money on that game so the blown call did not affect my pocketbook to cloud my judgement, LOL!!

Although that call was totally blown the Twins have nobody to blame for that loss other than themselves. They had enough opportunites to win that game for that blown call to not matter. They had a 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 9th and Joe Nathan served it up to ARod. They left 17 men on base and when you do that and blow a 2 run lead in the 9th inning I don't feel that bad for you when a human being makes a mistake

the twins had mauer on 2nd base with 0 out and they got a base hit. they chose to hold him there...bases loaded 0 out and didnt score. it's their own fault

it's their fault they lost, but isnt the issue here the call. i mean, that call could have been made by a 12 year old boy. i didn't bet the game but was laughing to myself when i saw it. it wasn't even close, and i think it even went off the tip of the glove first, and it was still in. fishy
