I think its a shame.....

A certain Ichiro Suzuki doesn't get the credit he deserves.....insane hitting record, with great longevity

but its true. It happens in every sport, guys maybe where they play or their demeanor just dont get the credit. Brian Roberts is always been a guy like that to me. What a good player he is and enjoyable to watch, and hes a "gamer". Shame he plays in Baltimore.

Japanese players are required to play at least ten years in Japan (always wondered how exactly they can do this since Japan isn't a communist country, but them's the rules).

Ichiro started out at 17 and got over here at 27 with as much of his prime ahead of him as possible.
