If Tonights Game Gets Rained Out Would You...

Skip over Andy tomorrow night and put CC back out there and say we are going to try and get it done now and not wait for Game 7 to bring back CC?

I think the Angels have a great shot to beat Petitte with the struggles that Andy has had for the most part this year at the New Yankee Stadium but CC looks in a zone and I just don't think the Angels can do much against him but do I want to take a chance in a Game 7 of losing a close game and not having a tomorrow to fall back on?. Throw CC out there in Game 6 roll the dice and try to close it out and if they do some how lose then for Game 7 then its all available and whatever has to be done gets done to win.

Agree/disagree?

Bring back CC in a heartbeat. IMO
Dont want to wait until game 7 (if nec) anything can happen in a one game winner take all format.

I agree, bring in CC

Girardi already said that Andy starts game 6, no matter when it is

Andy is a vet. Let him pitch and earn his stripes in the playoffs.. He will win the game and the yanks will be onto the world series..

I wholeheartedly agree. Let Petite pitch, veteran pitching in 27 series 15-9 with a 3.9 ERA. Game 6 is a must win for the Yanks regardless of when it is played. Spin it forward this allows CC to start Game 1 and AJ to pitch game 2 at home where he is much better. Just me thoughts.

I saw where they split it up, since 2004 his ERA is like 5 1/2 in the playoffs

He was good, as he's gotten older, he hasnt been as dominant

Up great point.! If Giradi does not over manage the Yanks win, just to much firepower with a savvy veteran who while older has pitched in these high stress games before.

Andy has faced the Angels 7 times in the past 2 years and he has given up 3,3,6,5,4,3 and 9 runs against them. The problem though is he has faced them 5 out of the 7 times in Anaheim, in the two games he has faced them in NewYork 1 last year at the old stadium and 1 time this year in the new building he has given up 5 runs and 9 runs in those two games and you have an Angels team who bats .288 on the road against lefthanded pitching.

Andys home ERA this is mid 4s.

I would have to seriously think about skipping him if this game gets rained out and contemplate having CC pitch tomorrow instead, I would much rather have CC going in Game 6 and hopefully get it closed out than a Game 7 where if CC is going to have an off night and I would still at least have Game 7 to make up for it than being done and not being able to do anything about it.

Again just my .02
