I'm amazed that cliff lee is not pitching game 6!

Anyone else agree? I think you still have him if you need him game 7! You no longer have the advantage in game 7 it's a must win for both! Put the pressure on Hughes in a must win! That's my oppinion what you think?

cliff lee has never pitched on short rest, why take the chance that he's not as sharp if he does

He's never pitched on short rest? Then how do you know he's bad? I just think it's a huge mistake to let the Yankees take momentum back there bats are not gonna be quiet for ever! I think Texas has a way better chance to beat Hughes then pettite in game 7! Isn't it all about giving your team the best chance to win?

you don't

nelson cruz has never pitched in a mlb game so i dont know that he's bad either

but i know hes a good outfielder so id play him here

i know that lee is dominate on regular rest so why mess with that in such a pivotal game? try him out during the season once or twice on short rest first if you think you may want to do it come playoff time, to see how he does first. This probably isnt the best time to try new things

I just think your playing with fire you got the Yankees with there backs against the wall. Why drag it out and let them fight there way back in? Colby Lewis was good his last outing I'm not saying he can't win I just think my ace who has been fantastic should come put it to bed before we are put in a must win situation!

i hear what you are saying, but what if lee gives up 2 runs, hughes is magnificent, and then you are in a game 7 with colby lewis

can go both ways - i think you have to go with what's worked, what got you to this point, and see if its good enough

Fair point - I would imagine Texas would not be that confident with Colby Lewis throwing game 7

i agree with this .. i'd rather have cliff pitching with all that pressure, if it even gets there

Petitte will win game 7 over lee there is no doubt in my mind give me the team that's used to the pressure home or away! This is setting up to be a Yankee comeback!

If Texas wins tomorrow, Lee gets to pitch G1 in the Series. If they don't, he pitches G7 in this series. Either way, he pitches next game with ample rest.
