yea would probably take bucholz and top rated prospect...most likely pitcher, shortstop or outfield. adrian would freakin rake for the red sox in that park

yeah, and from what i am reading he really prefers boston and has told his agent so.

casey kelly is a pitcher and i believe westmoreland is an OF and both top rated.

i guess we will see, but its interesting to say the least and having Hoyer out there helps the relationship part of the deal since he worked under epstein for the last several years

I'm surprised they went out and got Lackey. Not bad for your number three. Now the issue is a LF or get A Gonz. Move Buchholtz and a top prospect will be the ideal move. Hoyer knows what players and will probably gets what he wants. Theo may have to budge on this one.

Giving up on Bay?

Free agent outfielder Mike Cameron is in "serious talks" with the Red Sox, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. The two sides are reportedly discussing a two-year pact.

Rosenthal adds that it is unclear whether the BoSox would place Cameron in left field or center field.
