Jorge Posada to retire?
During the FOX broadcast of the Sox/Yankees game, Brian Cashman stated during an interview that Posada took himself out of tonight's lineup and is going to hold a press conference after the game.
Sounds like he's had enough of playing poorly.

It kinda sounded like it was heading that way on last night's broadcast.
Wouldn't be a huge surprise.

There are reports he pulled himself from the lineup because he didn't like the idea of batting 9th.

Now it's reported (from a source close to Posada) that Jorge had back spasms. This is after Cashman stated that there was nothing physically wrong with Posada.
Yeah, this is going to get stupid before then weekend is over.
