Just messin around untill my "Best Bet" tonight
Making a stand on the Red Sox to have something to do untill my Best Bet play on tonights action comes.
John Lester hurls the ball for the BoSox this afternoon & when he toes the slab for the Sox, Boston is on winning runs of 39-17 overall, 22-4 at home and 20-8 against A.L. East rivals. Also, including two playoff starts in October, Lester is 4-3 with a 4.17 ERA in 10 lifetime starts against Tampa Bay. Prior to that season-debut loss to the Rays on April 8, Boston had gone 7-0 with Lester pitching against them in the regular season. Boston, currently on a 17-5 roll, has won each of Jon Lester's last four starts and he is personally 4-1 with a 3.97 ERA in eight career starts against Tampa. Tampa's Scott Kazmir has allowed 52 baserunners in 33 innings pitched this season and the Rays have gone over the total in each of his six starts. His ERA in five starts versus the Red Sox over the past two years in regular season action is 7.13. ************************Boston***************************
