Kerry Wood signs with the Cubs

He and his wife love Chicago and he made $30,000,000 the last 3 years. So $ not important to he and family, signs for $1.5M, when he could signed for 3 Xs that amount with Yanks, Bosox and even a W Sox offer was supposedly on the table.

He wants to finish his carrer as a Cub..my kinda guy

Bravo Kid K

Lee still one of highest paid pitcher of all time, lets not get carried away.....speaking of Lee, heard some stuff on the radio about his son being sick (in remission for leukemia) and a big reason they went back to Philly was because they liked the hospital in Philly

Wood obviously didn't tell me that..I know, you're just being a chit..but it's all over the air waves here. He and his wife continued to live in Chicago during the off seasons and are HUGE in charitable work here..

Lee's wife may have had a lot to do with eliminating the Yankees..report is that a Yankee fan spit on her one time.
